تُطلق مؤسسة تامر للتعليم المجتمعي  في الثاني  من نيسان حملة تشجيع القراءة في المجتمع الفلسطيني " القراءة طبع وطابع" لتؤكد على الارث الثقافي الفلسطيني وتشدد على أهمية الشراكة الوطنية الواسعة ومساهمتها المجتمعية الثقافية. يُخلق الانسان بِسمات لكنه يشكل أطباعه من خلال احتكاكه مجتمعياً، وبالتحديد من خلال نحت التجارب به. والطابع النهائي لجسده وشخصيته يتطبعان بتجاربه. فنجد في وجه الكبير في السن حكمة خلقتها التجارب وخلقتها القراءة، وفي الطفل الصعير نجد الاندفاع والشجاعة التي نحتتها خارجنا التجارب والقراءات العديدة للأمور. وفي حالة الطفل ( وأيضا الشاب) نقول أن بإمكانه أن يستخدم تجاربه وقراءاته لخلق طابع جديد، يُخرج المجتمع عن جموده وقيوده. الطابع في هذه الحالة هو تجديد مستمر للهوية الفلسطينية بناءً على التجارب، والقراءة تكون الأداة المغذية لها. نردد قول الطابع فلسطيني في خطابنا كفلسطيينين، ولكننا في ذات الوقت ليس لدينا رضىً عن هذا الطابع لأننا نريدُأن ننعتق من سلبياته ونريدُأن نأخذهُ للأحسن، ونريدُ بالأساس البناء على مكوناته من أجل نسيج أحسن بين الناس يبنى على القيم الايجابية من كرم وعافية ومحبة واجتهاد. والطابع أيضاً، يشكل جزء من الهوية الانسانية والتاريخية والاجتماعية، والسياسية في كل مناطق العالم، وليس فقط فلسطينيا أوعربيا.

ومن أجل الطابع الفلسطيني الذي نريد، نكرر تذمرنا من أطباع عديدة في مجتمعنا، ونحث على التمسك بأطباع مميزة لثقافتنا الشعبية الفلسطينية. الكرم طبع ( نقول هذا الرجل بطبعه كريم)، والعونة طبع، أما القراءة فأم الاطباع. إنها الغذاءلأي طبع. وكي نغذي ايماننا بالكرم كطبع انساني جيد، نحتاج لان نعزز لدينا طبع قبول الناس وقراءتهم من خلال تجاربنا معهم، وقراءة العوالم والعقول الاخرى من خلال ما كتبت. وعليه، فإننا نحتاج أن نغذي طبع القراءة لتنمو أطباع أخرى مميزة، فيصير طابعنا الفلسطيني كما نريد.

في هذه الحملة دعوة لنجعل طباعنا ايجابية كي تغلب التطبّع الذي نعيشه، كي نغلب الاحتلال ومنتجاته، نغلب الكسل، ونغلب الدونية، ونغلب الهزيمة بالمعرفة والنسيج الاجتماعي الطيب.

وإن فكرة الختم على الشعار تعطي شرعية مجتمعية لأهمية القراءة، يقدمها كل من ساهم في التشجيع على القراءة طوال ال25 عام مضت وما قبل. فنقول جميعنا مكتبات ومراكز ومؤسسات شريكة في الحملة، نعم لشراكة وطنية امتدت ل 25 عام من أجل خلق موروث ثقافي فلسطيني يؤكد وجودنا وبأننا شعب يستحق الحياة والوجود. في هذا العام نضع كل الجهد المجتمعي كعلامة فارقة" طابع" هو بمثابة تثبيت لعطاء كل من ساهم في التشجيع على القراءة. والاختام تعكس ترحالاً وسفراً ،فالتجربة الفلسطينية لم تعد تجربة محلية، ووطنية فقط، وانما امتدت وتوالدت عنها تجارب عربية وعالمية، والشواهد كثيرة.

حملة تشجيع القراءة هي دعوة مفتوحة للجميع للمشاركة والمتعة والاستكشاف والفرح مع العائلة والأصدقاء، وهي دعوة لأن تكون الكتب جزء وطبع يومي لدينا نحتويه في البيت، والمدرسة، والعمل، وفي أماكن الانتظار، وفي كل مكان.

The National Reading Campaign in the Palestinian Society

Slogan “Reading: a rite and a print”

Tamer Institute for Community Education launches, during the month of April, The National Reading Campaign in the Palestinian Society 2014, under the slogan ““Reading: a rite and a print”. The campaign includes activities at various locations where the Palestinian society is based.  The Campaign reiterates the wide partnership with and participation of at least 350 Palestinian local organizations, community centers, libraries and youth clubs.

Humans are born with characteristics that form their entities as they grow. Experiences work to carve their own entities into new appearances of perfection or disguise, or both together.  For an old man, his life style is imprinted by rites of wisdom and hesitance resulting from life changing, merciful and unmerciful experiences, or even by imprinting readings of books. Also, a young woman/man shows drifting courage that is originally denounced by older, less courageous people in the same community. Children and young people, by so, show greater readiness to experience new rites and norms,whichcontribute to a renewed life experience in their communities. Such rites and norms stamp the renewed nature of experiences as a revived identity, a Palestinian revived identity.   

While Palestinians continue to refuse undesired appearances of their society, this campaign aims to continue building on positive practices “Stamps of the revived identity” as in generosity, wellness, diligence and love. Reading in this respect too, is a necessary practice, a necessary imprint of a society that feeds all practices. Reading people’s needs, complexities, and collectivity operators, lead to reforming the Palestinian style, print and representation.

The stamp on the poster grants legitimacy to the communal partnership and participation in reading promotion for the past 25 years, and approving the Palestinian right to life. Stamps too, represent a journey experience of reading promotion that exceeded the local national experience in Palestine to a regional and worldly experience. 

The National Reading Campaign in the Palestinian society invites all Palestinians to join the joy, exploration, and learning with family and friends. It invites all Palestinian to stamp their lives with a reading habit.
